Seven Decades is an offshoot from Oldsters View which is a news aggregation site specializing in digging out oddities in the news and putting them in a convenient place for you to read them. I try to avoid editorializing on Oldsters View and to keep my own random thoughts to a minimum. So Seven Decades will be the place for that. I hope you will find it interesting, and maybe, sometimes, relevant to your life.
I’m putting this site together more for myself than for others. When you reach a certain age you begin to take a close look at what has happened in your life, what it all may mean, the structure of the “reality” you find yourself in and what you are doing here. Although I believe I know some of the answers I hope to discover more answers by writing.
Although it may end up that way, in the beginning there will be not much structure, just things as they occur to me. Want to go for a ride?
